The team kicks off the season at home on August 30 against Espanyol. Schedule for next season looks pretty good- I don’t see any stretches where we’ll be playing strong teams back-to back-to back (i.e. last season’s run from Oct.5-Nov.1 where we played, in this order, Sevilla, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Villareal). Also, maybe Los Leones can get some points toward the end of the season- of the final six matches four will be played at home. Two of those are back-to-back against Mallorca and Málaga.
Before I go, here’s a random question. Does anyone else think that David López looks like an old lesbian?

I like the schedule for the new season. It’s making me feel quite optimistic.
LOL. He does indeed. But at least he’s not Iñaki Muñoz who manages to look like an ogre… even in a suit. (photgraphic evidence: http://www.athletic-club.net/web/main.asp?a=1&b=1&c=1&d=0&jokalaria=1732&foto=4&idi=0)

You’re right, the supercopa will be played against Barcelona. First leg is at San Mamés on August 16 and the second leg is at Camp Nou on August 23.
